Coming back to the school where you’ve been after years is not a bad idea. But the point is that which school can accept this? IPC does! And Zoltan Balazs Nyitrai made this decision to come back to IPC as a student again. Why he came up with this decision? Does he get all he wants in this coming back? I found this out after talking with Zoltan in a “kinda” deep talkasan assignment for a class at IPC  – Journalism.

I made an appointment with Zoltan a week ago and this was postponed many times due to lots of activities at IPC. The final one came late at night when he was just back from a yoga session. Contrary to his usual eager and enthusiastic appearance, Zoltan looked tired and seemed like not in a good mood. I started the conversation quite reservedly and gradually get in tune with his mood and know more about him.

Zoltan is a 33 year-old Hungarian lawyer and worked in a food company for legal consulting issues related to hygienic quality of food. IPC was his first international when he was quite young and just graduated from the university. And at this time he felt homesick after first 4 weeks and it happened the same this time. That’s the reason why Zoltan seemed not in a good mood caused by “homesick and missing his small flat in Budapest”.

It’s not always easy to quit your job and go back to school again but Zoltan made the decision after quite lots of tensive consideration. “I was really fed up with the current job and really wanted a career break and think more about the future”, shares ‘Zoltan’. He wants to work in a NGO or an international organization therefore IPC is a good idea according to him since it is not only a place for energy recharging but also a truly good place for networking with new friends coming from all over the world with totally brand new experiences.

As a travel-addict, in this small gap months period at IPC, Zoltan has been made several trips to Sweden, Norway and really excited about the study trip in Istanbul. Indeed, experiencing the culture from the friends in IPC then an actual travel trip would be more that meet the eyes. And when the weather turns darker and colder it will be the time for him to start drawing and painting indoor. It is a really nice chance to improve your personal skills and satisfy your hobbies which are hard to be fulfilled in the tensive working environment.

Traveling and vacationing and some other types of travel might be the same concepts but experiencing the IPC again is totally a big difference while you can combine many things at the same time and for your truly good sake. And Zoltan is looking forward to catching this philosophy with this trip to be student again. It may not be the smartest, most responsible decision to leave his life behind to target search abroad but anyway he dares to do and is trying to do his best.

Dream big. Do bigger. Act without fear, live with purpose and never give up. No matter where you’re from, what you’ve been through, your age or your color, you are capable of wonderful, magnificent things. Just coming to IPC and find strength in your trials, your new experiences and surely would be kept pushing forward.
