One of my most memorable journeys in the last days of 2022 was the Fulbright Alumbus. To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Fulbright program in Vietnam, I decided to organize an unlimited adventure, taking myself and young companions across the country to connect with the Fulbright community and gain a deeper understanding of the values behind this prestigious scholarship. The young individuals accompanying me were not all aiming for Fulbright; they were curious, exploring everything, and during the Alumbus journey, they shared stories on various digital platforms, offering their “perspectives” on Fulbright.

Our journey started from Hanoi on October 16 and will conclude on November 15, just a few days before the 35th-anniversary Gala event of Fulbright. On the Alumbus, we traveled across Vietnam, meeting and experiencing the lives of former Fulbright fellows from various programs. I also have 6 travelogue episodes to share with everyone—my friends on social media, those who happen to stumble upon them—to understand more about the values a scholarship program can bring, fostering personal development and connections, and inspiring others.
